LEGACY

Legacy. It could be that antique chair you’ve coveted or a million dollars from the uncle in Zaire you never knew you had. It could be the bump in your nose or your infectious laugh. It could be the dark memory of a relationship gone bad or a ragged 40-year-old concert T-shirt you stole from your BFF. What does legacy mean to you?

Curated and produced by Steven Braun.

Storytellers for February:

Dr. Jennifer Blanco Thomas is a pediatric audiologist, standup comedian, and cool mom. Originally from Miami, Florida, she is a proud 1st generation American whose family is from Havana, Cuba. She serves on the Amphi Foundation and Grace Hearing non-profit boards, produces and hosts a children’s improv comedy show, and volunteers doing hearing testing and hearing aid fitting in Mexico.

Equal parts starry-eyed idealist and crusty construction worker, Joe Silins hails from Phoenix but likes to think he’s been in Tucson long enough to call himself a local. Joe is self-employed in natural building. He enjoys spending time with friends, volunteering, and talking about how he should be camping and hiking more.

Jesseca Banchy, a spiritual being in a really sexy human body that feels immense joy, happiness, and health.
